General terms of sales

These general conditions apply in the context of the sale of products or services by the company Natireva operating under the Air Moana trade name (hereinafter "Air Moana" or "the Carrier") for a Customer physically present in French Polynesia.

A reservation file reference is communicated to the Customer when a reservation request is taken into account.

Reservation requests can be made:
-From a distance:

    - Air Moana provides an online booking tool available on the website www.airmoana.pf
    - Distance selling agency
- At the counter, in a permanent or temporary Air Moana physical agency.

Some special services cannot be booked online (eg: “UM” service for an unaccompanied child). For more information, please contact your branch or the Air Moana remote sales department.

The reservation file includes:
- information concerning the reserved flights as well as their status: confirmed, in demand or on the waiting list for these

- a deadline for paying tickets
- and any other information necessary for the smooth running of the passenger's journey.

A confirmed reservation that has not given rise to payment does not guarantee the fare.

Prices are published inclusive of all taxes in Pacific Francs (XPF).

Special conditions may apply to certain fares. These conditions are available in your agency or on the Air Moana website.

Babies under 2 and children under 12 benefit from special reduced fares.

Fares to/from Bora Bora Island include the cost of the sea shuttle between the airport and the main island.
The fares communicated at the time of booking and before issuing tickets may be subject to subsequent modifications by Air Moana at any time without notice.

Only the full payment of the price excluding taxes and charges guarantees the price applied.

Taxes and charges are collected when tickets are issued and are paid to the supervisory authorities in charge of defining their amount, the associated rules of application and associated refunds.

DesService charges whose amounts and conditions are defined by Air Moana may apply.

These are mentioned in writing on the quotes sent to you by e-mail, in paper format or on the Air Moana online booking tool, in the case of bookings made on the Air Moana website.

Some payment methods are subject to specific conditions.

The list of accepted payment methods is defined by Air Moana.

Checks are accepted as a method of payment subject to compliance with a deadline of eight (8) working days before the departure date and to be issued for the debit of a bank account domiciled in French Polynesia.

Cash payments are accepted within the limits of the regulations and legal provisions in force.

Given the conditions associated with certain fares, a list of specific authorized payment methods may be established.

The passenger ticket can be issued at the Carrier's agency, by its Distance Selling service or online according to the conditions defined by the Carrier.

An electronic ticket is issued against full payment of the fare.

For technical reasons, a paper type passenger ticket can be issued instead of an electronic ticket.

The schedules indicated by Air Moana are subject to change at any time without notice, therefore we recommend that you check with Air Moana or a travel agent the day before your trip.

1. Refund of the passenger ticket

Some specific fares are subject to special conditions.

For more information, contact your travel agency or your Air Moana agency.

In the event of partial use of the ticket, no refund of unused tickets is authorized.

2. Refund of individual taxes and fees

In the event that your passenger ticket is no longer valid and has not given rise to transport, you have the right to reimbursement of individualized taxes and charges, payment of which proceeds from your actual boarding.

To obtain refund of these sums, you can send your reimbursement request to your Air Moana agency.

For tickets purchased from a travel agency, a reimbursement request must be made directly to this operator.

3. Refund of Service Fees

Reimbursement of service charges is not authorized.

Specific travel conditions are defined for certain types of passengers or baggage.

Pregnant women, whose pregnancy evolves without particularity, can travel without specific formality until the thirty-seventh (37th) week. From this date, the pregnant woman must provide a medical certificate of less than 24 hours, attesting to a very low risk of imminent delivery. However, in all cases, Air Moana recommends that you consult your treating physician before your departure. Sales agents should be informed of pregnancy when booking.

The baby fare (children under 2 years old) does not allow a seat during the flight; the child must travel on the lap of one of his parents or an adult over 18 years old, valid and responsible. The accompanying person can only have one child under the age of two under his responsibility.

Persons with reduced mobility or requiring specific assistance must inform Air Moana at the time of booking at least 48 hours before the departure of their flight. Air Moana may refuse carriage for reasons related to security requirements.

The transport of certain passengers requiring special assistance, animals or luggage (transport in the cabin or in the hold) may be subject to a quota per flight in order to meet certain regulatory operating and safety standards.

By your act of purchase, you acknowledge having read and unconditionally accepted these General Conditions of Sale, supplemented by the General Terms and Conditions of Carriage of Air Moana.

This acceptance cannot be subject to subsequent questioning.

Air Moana reserves the right to modify its General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as its General Conditions of Carriage, at any time, without notice.
